Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what we need to quote and do the job, we use it for that, and we do not sell it to anyone.

What we collect
When you fill in the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb, what type of property you have, and whatever you write in the message box. If you call or email us instead, we collect whatever you tell us.
The site uses privacy-friendly analytics that count page views without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. We do not run advertising trackers, which is why you are not being asked to accept cookies.
What we use it for
Quoting your job, doing the work, invoicing you, and contacting you about work you have asked for. If you are on the annual plan, we use it to schedule and remind you about visits.
We do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it, and every reminder we send has a way to stop it.
Who else sees it
Our job management system, which we use to schedule work and send invoices, and our website host. Both are service providers acting on our instructions. We do not sell your information or hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for the work and for our tax and insurance records. If you want your details removed and there is no legal reason to keep them, ask us and we will remove them.
Getting a copy, or correcting it
Email admin@roofmate.au and ask. You can ask what we hold, ask us to fix it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it.
Complaints
Tell us first, at admin@roofmate.au, and we will try to sort it out. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
