Terms of service
The plain-English version of how we work.
Draft site. These terms describe the intended arrangement and need Gareth's sign-off, plus a legal check, before the site goes live. Payment terms and the guarantee wording in particular.
Quotes
Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on what we can see and on what you have told us about the property. If we arrive and the job turns out to be materially different, we will tell you before we start rather than surprise you on the invoice.
Booking and access
We will confirm a date with you. For most exterior work you do not need to be home, but we do need access to the property, to power and water where the job requires it, and to have vehicles and pets out of the way. Chimney sweeping and interior window cleaning need someone to let us in.
Weather
Roof work is weather dependent and safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe we will reschedule at no cost to you.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed instalments or you are on the annual plan. Terms: TBC
Cancellation
Let us know as early as you can and there is no charge. Cancellation terms: TBC
Our guarantee
If you are not happy with an area of the work, tell us and we will come back and put it right. Guarantee terms: TBC
Liability and insurance
We carry public liability insurance of TBC and hold TBC for working at height. We take care of your property, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for defects we find rather than cause. Where we spot a problem, we report it.
The annual plan
No lock-in. You can stop it whenever you like. Plan terms: TBC
